About me
Olá, I'm Egon. I could talk about things that really get me going for hours (like design). But to keep it short and sweet, I'm a Latino Brazilian dude who loves to design stuff. In my free time, you can catch me biking, running, backpacking, traveling, jamming out on my guitar, or simply enjoying my free time at home listening to music.
Holistic view
I am a learner who thrives on exploring new concepts and skills. My career journey has been shaped by this curiosity, as well as the influence of inspiring individuals who have inspired me and taught me along the way.
My diverse journey spanned UX, visual design, motion, illustration, research, copywriting, and coding. As a result, I now have a holistic view of things and embrace versatility (but I'm currently a bit more into visual design).

If I were to make a list, I would end up borrowing Dieter Rams' principles. But to put it in my own words, I can say that for me, good design is timeless and distinctive. I believe that good design should be accessible to everyone, and above all, it should be present in every single detail – whether it's a glass, a toaster, a chair, a bicycle, a restaurant, or within urban spaces.

What else?
I believe my decision to work producing beautiful things stemmed from my travel-filled life. I've always enjoyed backpacking and getting to know new cultures, people, and their objects, and somehow design allows me to use this cultural baggage for work, creating products that are both functional/user-friendly and aesthetic.
